Step 1: Mood Board
After many ideas/ formulating a final mood board I was able to study the design of City Park. It was created after the original Fayetteville city park that is now taken up by housing and other developments. While growth might be great, honoring the truth of the starting environment is also. I knew my design had to be inspired by the history of the community this park brought and the fun it now gets to bring customers.
Step 2: Develop Design
City Park is know for its uniquely shaped logo, why not incorporate that into its actual menu. Or what if the experience of choosing your meal becomes even more interactive? Like a round of corn hole. Instead of having a normal flimsy menu it could become less about the actual food but more about the atmosphere and the culture of it all. Laser printing was a new concept to me but seemed important for the honestly of this design.
